  • It was my very first visit yesterday at your place. Me and my bf were trying to look for a nice place for GOOD food after work. We were walking through the entire East point, looking for what I call GOOD food.

I was craving for Chinese cuisine, but despite the fact of browsing through all the choices, from Chinese cuisine to Japanese food to even buffet... Sadly, nothing caught our attention nor satisfy my inner cravings.

    Could…

  • Whenever I eat at home, like eating rice or noodles, I will take 1 or 2 hours to finish. When I come to Eighteen Chefs, I will take like 15 minutes to finish the students' meal. So, Eighteen Chefs is really a wonderful place to eat!

  • Today, I was once again having a yummy-licious lunch at your cafĂ©, and I thought that it would definitely be wonderful to write in to praise you guys. Anyway, from the first time I was introduced to your eatery and up till now - and probably many, many years down the road - I have always enjoyed and loved the food and drinks that come out your kitchen.

"At home he eats very little and seldom finishes his meal" quotes his grandmother.
"My favourite meal is the student set with the main course of Cheese Baked Rice of Creamy White & Chicken Sausages. I love the Garlic Bread here also. Eighteen Chefs ROCKS..!!"

Earth Hour-28 Mar 2009
On the actual day, customers who came to dine-in with us were informed of our intention to operate at the dining area without electrical lights. At about 7.30pm, the light switches were turned off individually every 15 minutes. Candle lights were also placed on every table and light sticks were given to the customers to prepare them for much anticipated hour.
At exactly 8.30pm the countdown began and the final light switch was turned off. The restaurant was by then filled with customers who want to experience how's it like to be dining with minimal lights. The absence of lights didn't deter the customers from placing their orders and having fun.
Overall, it was a great success and everybody stayed until the lights were turned back on at 9.30pm. We would definitely do this again for the years to come. Thank you to everyone who helped us made this movement for a good cause possible.
